Join the celebration of Liverpool’s Cunard Building as it marks its centenary.
On Saturday 2nd July, luxury liner, Queen Elizabeth, will be paying a visit to Liverpool to mark this special occasion and will be berthed at the Cruise Terminal from 8am until 10pm.
The Pier Head will be hosting the birthday party with two special concerts held in front of the Cunard building.
The first concert will take place at 2.30pm – 3.15pm with performances from Royal Marines Band, Liverpool Welsh Choral and Mezzo Soprano, Danielle Thomas, who will be performing British classics such as Rule Britannia and Land of Hope and Glory alongside contemporary numbers such as Proud Mary and All You Need is Love.
Bring your flags and singing voices for this Best of British, flag-waving, sing-a-long on the Pier Head which will culminate in a rendition of Happy Birthday as the finale!
This concert will be repeated at 9.30pm – 10.15pm that evening ahead of the departure of the Queen Elizabeth, who will sail away as the Liverpool waterfront is illuminated with a stunning fireworks display.

9.30pm – Evening concert begins at Pier Head, front of Cunard Building
